Our Story

 

Our motto is: Find. Your. Roar.

Often, we can be reluctant to stand up and say who we are and why we’re saying it. Us included.

When we started Lion Spirit Media in 2015, we wanted to remove the traditional confines of business communication and speak from the heart. So we’re painting a picture that goes beyond black and white to not only include grey but shades of eye catching orange, blue, green and yellow.

Combining over 25 years’ experience in journalism, marketing, media relations and comprehensive project management and deliverance — we pride ourselves on our listening and communication skills.

So, as cheesy as it sounds, we wanted to make a difference by helping businesses. After all, we’ve found that’s what makes a genuine connection. That’s what makes us as people interact, engage and make friends. What if we could translate that over into the business world — and help others get there?

We made that our mission. And here we are.

How it All Began

‘The creative one’

I found my entrepreneurial spirit, my Lion Spirit, years ago. And I’m so glad I did. I’ve loved the written word my entire life. And my passion for reading and storytelling led to a much-loved career in journalism, and I’m still very active as a freelance journalist.

I also saw that communication and wordplay were affecting businesses in a big way. As the burgeoning desire for content that truly resonates with people and transforms businesses was on the up! And being championed as an integral element of brand storytelling.

So I saw the opportunity to use my combined skills, knowledge and experience in marketing, PR and journalism to help others communicate in an authentic and engaging way.

Outside of work, you’ll find me enjoying life with family and friends. Always. Or I’ll have my head stuck in a book or travel guide, planning my next must-do trip.

With 16 years in project and team management, I love nothing more than to strategise, organise content calendars, and make sure every detail of your content marketing and communications is taken care of.

With technology a helpful and necessary extension across global teams, I’m never happier than when using digital marketing capabilities, software and automation to maximise your business’s success.

I use my leadership, analytical and organisational expertise to consider how best digital marketing technologies, techniques and trends can be used to achieve your growth goals. It’s not tech for tech’s sake — it’s well-thought-out, tailored strategies for you.

When I’m not catching up on the latest tech and gadget news, you’ll find me travelling or perfecting my latest dish (which I’ll have inevitably picked up from a recent travelling adventure!).
