How much does a website cost?
Our website builds start at £500+VAT for a basic one-page small site, including the page copy. All we require from you are your logo, some images and some information about your business and the services you offer. However, we normally work with our customers to build a site that will really bring in leads for them. The cheapest option is often not the best. We want our customers to get a return on their investment, so although we won’t be the cheapest option out there you can be confident that what you will get will work and pay for itself.
Can I edit the site myself?
Yes! But you don’t have to, we are are happy to make minor content changes for you as part of your website’s maintenance package.
Do I need a copywriter for my website?
Why do you use your own hosting?
The easy answer is speed!
You may have seen web hosting advertised at prices as low as £2 a month, however, in our experience, these hosts overload their servers with so many sites that yours ends up running slowly, this provides a terrible experience to your customers and Google knows this too so it ranks lower. We control how many sites run on our servers ensuring your site is always fast!
Can you update our current website?
It depends! We can certainly take a look at your current site, however, we often find that other website-building platforms don’t have the features that WordPress has to optimise your website for search engines. Our experience has also shown that at times it can take more work to improve an existing website than it would to start again.
We want our customers to be happy with the performance of any website we create and therefore normally recommend moving existing websites over to WordPress.
How long does it take to build a website for a plumber?
If you have all the images and logos ready to go, we can write and build a website in two weeks. Typically, though it takes around a month to get a new website online.
Can you offer an SEO service for my site?
Absolutely! We optimise your site’s pages when it is built, but that isn’t the only factor in getting your site found on Google. Our SEO packages are perfect for plumbers and other trades looking to get on to the first page of Google.
